世界の絶景 : ヨセミテ赤い滝（Yosemite Red horse tail fall）世界の果てまでイッテQ

世界の果て待てイッテQ、毎週楽しみにみてますが、ヨセミテ公園の赤い滝（YosemiteRed horse tail fall ＜赤い馬の尾滝＞）には感動しました。他にも神秘的な写真が無いか探すと、もっとも有名な画像の共有サイトFricerにいくつかありましたので、リンクと一緒に掲載します。このヨセミテ公園の赤い滝は、いままで黄金のエレベストなども絶景でしたが、自然の神秘は、赤い滝の方も感動的です。

Finally got a picture of Horsetail Falls in Yosemite after 2 years of trying. You have only a couple of weeks at the end of February to get this shot and the conditions have to be just right. As you can see it was worth the wait :-)

firefall_2007.jpg　Yosemite（ヨセミテ）は、アメリカでもっとも人気のある国立公園。カリフォルニア州東端にある。中心部は各種の宿泊施設のある渓谷広場ヨセミテバレー。

　入り口に君臨するエル・キャピタンは、バレーから1095メートルの高さでそびえ立つ花こう岩の一枚岩。ロッククライマーあこがれの世界最大級の垂直岩壁でもある。
　
　「Red horse tail fall ＜赤い馬の尾滝＞」赤い滝は滝の岩壁を見上げれるマセード河畔からエルキャピタンが陰り暗くなってきた岩壁の面に、水しぶきを上げる滝の周りが銀色に光って、そこに夕陽が差してピンク色に染まり、徐々に赤みを帯びて…とても幻想的な瞬間である。

　『落日をあびて金色に輝く滝＜ヨセミテ・エルキャピタン＞』
　
　ヨセミテ・バレーのシンボル、エルキャピタン（地上高約1000m の1枚岩山）に懸る滝。夕陽があたって黄金色に輝いた。この現象は、毎年2月下旬の1週間ほど、好天の日だけに見ることが出来る。
